I drove down on Thursday after work, so it was too dark to take in the fall foliage on the drive down. The first football game of the season just happened to be at FED-EX field just outside of DC against USC (ranked #1 in the preseason polls).  And my Hokies did a really good job proving that we could put up a fight.... we were even beating them 10-7 for at least 10 minutes of play time.
